Telephone House - Cala Homes Scheme of Works October 2002

Dear Sir,

Please accept this letter as notice of my objection to the Scheme of Works for the development of the Telephone House site by CALA Homes.

Having read through their schedule I remain deeply concerned about any works traffic using York Road.

The foundations of my building and those within the terrace (of which my building forms part) extend below the pavement of York Road. The effect of any fully laden vehicle, bearing building materials, passing through York Road is likely to have a material effect on the structure of my building.

I urge the council to reject the current plan and ask the developer to submit a proposal that avoids using York Road as a thoroughfare altogether.

Yours sincerely,
Paul Huxley.

Objections to CALA Homes' Second Scheme of Works for the Telephone House Development

Is CALA really going ahead with THAT scheme?
