The proposed blocks of flats would be set close to the street and houses opposite. They would not only steal the light of the houses opposite but would stand in their own deep shadow.
It became known after the Inquiry, that developers, planners and the Inspector for that matter relied on misleading shadow diagrams, produced by Schatunowski Brooks. Out of date ordenance survey maps might have also contributed to the confusion (including non existing houses 23-25)
