Scheme goes to appeal
Tunbridge Wells Borough Council's refusal to accept a scheme of works for the development of Telephone House in Church Road, Tunbridge Wells, is to be challenged at an appeal before an inspector for the Secretary of State.
The Council's reasons for refusal were that the scheme did not demonstrate sufficient protection to residential amenities in York Road because of construction related vehicular traffic.
The scheme also lacked the clarity and precision needed to allow for accurate and effective monitoring of the construction.
