Dear Sir,

Re: Telephone House, Church Road / York Road

We read in the Urban White Paper:
" 4.33 Where brownfield land and empty properties are not redeveloped or reoccupied quickly they become, not only a wasted resource, but a problem for the whole community. "

This is becoming particularly true in the Conservation Area of Tunbridge Wells, where we live.

The site has been left to deteriorate for the last 2 years and is used as a base for fly tipping. Unfortunately our Council does not seem to have the resources to tackle the problem efficiently, so that we have to rely on an appeal to one of the most respected companies of the UK to clean up their act.

Please find enclosed an excerpt of a documentation, which has been submitted to the Planning Inspectorate.

We suggest that the property is generally put under the surveillance of a security company and that all is undertaken to keep it tidy.

If in the meantime we can be of further assistance contact us on our e-mail: twyorkroad@cs.com

Yours faithfully
